Our first full day at sea was a busy one. Of course, time flies when you're having fun! Thankfully, no one seemed to have any terrible problems with being sea sick.
I have to say our kids behaved exceptionally well. Cam really did well and loved being able to hang out with his cousins and grandparents. Cait didn't have any melt downs, even when she didn't get a nap AND stayed up late! Lily had some security issues but overall did really good. She was very attached to a particular baby doll during the trip and as long as we had that and she was able to nurse, things went fairly well.
Breakfast was yummy and we enjoyed eating with the family. The day was cool and breezy but after lunch (where Cam and Jack beat up Papa) Cait, Cam, Bren and I braved the water. We started with the pool but then went up to the water play area and water slides. They were fun and my only wish was that it was warmer and we were able to slide more! I love water slides!
We had tea at 3. There was a tray of assorted desserts including macaroons. It was a yummy and perfectly relaxing.
Of course, Bren enjoyed the outdoor activities. Pool with Papa and exercise equipment were just some of the activities.
A beautiful evening in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico!
Formal Night!!! Here we are getting ready. You can also see the "bunk bed" that Cam slept on in Granny's room. Bren slept on the same bed in our room.
Mom took some family pictures for us before dinner!

Dinner was wonderful and delicious. JC and I enjoyed prime rib, lobster and shrimp while the kids ate ribs.
After dinner, the hunt was on to find a photographer that wasn't afraid of a party of 21. Unfortunately, Lily did not stay awake for the picture. I think this was about 10 p.m.! I have to say we were a pretty good looking group!
One of the girls favorite features on the ship was the lights that changed colors from green to blue, pink and yellow. Lily loved saying the colors as we walked past the lights. Her vocabulary exploded during the week on the "big boat" as she called it.
Back in our room, our towel pillows were a swan and elephant. Bren enjoyed some late night basketball; Cait and Cam ate the chocolates that our sweet, cheerful and efficient room steward, Picard from Haiti, left for us.
