Lily at 14 months

Lily was 14 months old in April and she has been budding with tons of personality.  I thank God for the ability to stay home with my children and be a part of their watching them grow and learn.
Lily loves playing out back with (or without) her siblings.  As with Cait, Cam and Bren, my kids just love playing and discovering outside.  I am thankful for the beautiful days we've had this spring that allows for such time of exploration.
Lily has fantastic determination and fine motor skills.  She loves to sit and put on/take off lids and will sit for long periods of time doing this.  She also likes stacking blocks and can even put toothpicks into a salt shaker!  Besides sitting to do these things, she will sit still for pop-Kern (as Cait says).  She does pretty good sitting through church!
She is opening up to more people but she still is hesitant, especially with men.  She sure loves her daddy and brothers though.

Can you find the baby foot print?

She nods yes and signs "milk".  She gives momma lots of kisses.  She has started to climb - which is not always good.  She's a pretty good eater.  She likes scrambled eggs, rice, most meats and veggies but her favorite is still fruit.  She quit eating blueberries but she still likes bananas, strawberries, apples, kiwi, oranges and so on.
Our Lily, so pretty.

Cousin Time

We've had some extra fun lately with cousin Tae coming over to play.  We've explored outside...
played Play-Doh (even mixed colors!)...

and experimented with colors and super absorbent polymers.

We put yellow, blue and red polymers into our test tube and four days later, we had new colors!
We also had a geat time at Bella & Jack's, playing outside and having a dance party!
We're so thankful to have close cousins for the kids and that they love playing with their "friends"!

Easter Weekend

We started Easter weekend off by a quick visit to Lawton.  Unfortunately we left our camera at home.  We had a relaxing time visiting with Granny and PawPaw.

After church, we ate lunch with our church family before heading home so the girls could take quick naps.

The it was off to Gramma and Papa's house for Easter dinner.  The cousins had so much fun playing together.  See, everything was peaceful until the jolly green giant showed up!  I'm sure the kids enjoyed a shake up!

Papa had some snappers/poppers leftover from NYE and the grandkids had fun throwing them in the driveway.  Even Lily got them to pop!

The girls were beautiful in their blue Easter dresses but they sure did not want to pose for a picture!
It went south fast!  Even Cam tried to help!
It was a good time celebrating our Saviors resurrection with friends and family.  We are truly blessed!
