Well Planned Day

A run down on November

Cameron got a haircut. I asked the lady to leave it a little shaggy. I guess she didn't know what that meant. It looked cute nonetheless.

Somehow Bren didn't make it into too many pictures this month. Seems he is hiding from the camera again lately. We bought Caitlin a bumbo seat and she likes it pretty well.

One of Cameron's preschool books was Sun Bread. He liked it so much, he decided we should make Sun Bread. After a bit of thinking, I decided pretzel dough would be easy to make into shapes. Somehow my dough ended up a little too wet to make shapes, but Cameron wasn't dismayed. They sure don't look pretty but it was fun and they tasted pretty good.

Cameron. He loves to dress up, as you know. Here, he has on his Roman helmet {jughead!} and who says $3 can't buy happiness? We got this ninja suit on clearance after Halloween!
We've enjoyed having each of my sister's families over for dinner at different times this month. It was a blessing to spend time with each of my sisters and their families. I missed taking pictures with the Abla's, unfortunately.
JC's brother had surgery on his shoulder so we made some freezer meals to send their way. I spent $53.97 + tax for 10 meals + 2 sides & sausage balls and $8 for foil pans! I was quite proud of my thriftiness! I made chicken, rice and veggies, ham and potato casseroles, spaghetti and meatballs.

I made this "Kernels of Thanks" to remind us of the things we are thankful for. I am thankful to have some extra money to bless others and for extra time spent with my sisters and their families.

And sweet, sleepy babies.

And I'm thankful to be able to make things with my hands. Check out this cool apron I made Taelyn for her birthday. And check out sweet Taelyn. (I made the design on the shirt, too!)

Such a pretty girl!

And Gramma got all her Turkeys together for a picture at family night last week. And then there's the littlest turkey!

Check out her tongue as she tries to drink from the cup! Love her piggies!!!

Baby Cait is 5 months old!

My pretty little girl is 5 months old today!
This week, she sat up for her entire bath!
She loves interacting and playing with her brothers. She loves to laugh at them.
She had noticed drinks and loves to hold water bottles and get sips of water.
She is a happy baby. Really only fussy when she's tired and easily put down for naps.
It is absolutely a wonder to be a mom to such a beautiful girl. She is a gift.
It's a wonder to be a mom to the boys as well. Just a whole different wonder!

My first Ten on Ten

Here's the idea. On the 10th of each month, take one picture every hour for 10 hours.
But you know how I am about a challenge. And my camera. Or maybe you don't.

Snuggles. My very first embroidered towel.

Smiles. Tutus. Teenager.

Chilly morning. Error message.

The beginning of something good. After lunch snack.

Piano lesson time. Enjoying the fall colors.

A curious cat. A rainbow.

Afternoon snack. A cluttered, yet functional fridge. Dinner menus, emergency contacts, wish lists, lots of ABC's, shopping lists and a necklace.

Getting off work time; waiting in the cool evening. Finishing science. Tickles, ladybugs & swords.

Legos. Grumpy faces.

Reading Alice in Wonderland. My second finished towel.

A day of photography, my children and embroidery. A good day!
