Little bit

Little bit is her daddy's nickname for her.
She sure is growing fast!
These days, she is pretty happy!
And look at those cute fat thighs!

This was the outfit she wore to daddy's first work picnic.  What a good day!
She loves to sleep in her swing; we love the swing!
I ♥ baby toes!
These girls are already becoming friends!
Lily will be 3 months tomorrow and I'm so proud of how well she has done this month.  We've worked out most of her crying issues (some tummy problems and some sensory problems).  She is happy when she's awake and sleeps well.  Seems like life is finally starting to settle down a bit.

A new cast

Full Leg Cast, 28 days later...

Do you see this wink & thumbs up? He gave it to 2 nurses and the receptionist today at the orthopedic office! What a charmer he is!

Like the new cast? FOUR more weeks!

Mother's Day

Today was a beautiful day.
I am so thankful that God has blessed me with four healthy, wonderful children.
Today, I celebrated the honor and blessing of being a mom.
I am also so thankful for my wonderful mom and mother-in-law!

photos galore!

Our days are so busy, even when we stay home.  But I still grab the camera to snap some shots of those I love the most!  And, oh help me, Google has changed the way blogger works so now I have a learning curve in blogging as well!  Some of these photos are old (I forget about them when they are on my phone!) and many are just plain out of order!!!

Cait gets her style from Bren.  And when she says his name, it sounds a little like button.

This picture of Lily and Daddy was taken when she was just under 1 month.  Sweet snuggles.

We had some crazy storms in March.  This funnel cloud was right over our house.  The closest I've come to a tornado.  The closest I WANT to come to a tornado!
Pinterest has been my friend as I look for ways to keep the kids busy.  Here, they painted with liquid chalk.  This was before the broken leg!

Cait watching big brother do lawn work!
Sweet kisses!
Cait got super sick mid-April.  She had tonsillitis and double ear infections.  She was sick from Thursday until Tuesday the following week.  She was well one day before Cam's accident!

Cait loved her first ring pop!  She held on to it until it was completely gone!
Smiles at two month!
What a cutie!

It's been a challenge to find things for Cam to do while his leg is broken!
Thankfully mom & my sisters brought Cam fun things to do and lots of friends and family have visited to help time go by.
Cait is so creative and curious and busy! Her hair is still such a mess!  See her ponytail while she talks to her PawPaw?

This picture (above) is super old.  Probably a year.  If you look in the mirror you can see Cait.  Both kids crashed after a trip to Lowes one summer day!
These pictures are from a year ago as well.  Last year, nearly all of Lake Overholser was drained.  Here we are exploring in the middle of the lake!  This lake is by Gramma & Papa's so it's one we visit often.  Seeing it empty was so bizarre!

Cait keeps busy at the boy's PE class (above).
It is rare for our family to make it to the mall but last month we did and Cait loved the little play area!  She especially loves kitties!
