Well Planned Day

40 Weeks, 280 Days, 6,720 Hours, 76.9% of a Year!

Well, today is my due date and still no baby. Hmmm. You know I'm ready. Can't think about much else. Especially with contractions through out each day. Sitting at the house makes me a bit crazy, so today we went out for lunch with plans for afterwards.

But Cameron started to feel a little lethargic while dining at our favorite Chicken Express so we went home afterwards. Sure enough, he had a low grade fever and quickly fell asleep. So we watched more of Big Jake (a John Wayne movie Granny picked out at the library yesterday).

After Cameron's nap, we headed out to Martin Nature Park on the north side of town. It's a free nature park, open Wednesday - Sunday. It was a bit hot outside so we only walked around about an hour but the best part was right at the beginning of our trek.

A man and his children had been feeding cheap dog food to the turtles and fish. There had to be about 30 turtles, about 5-6 big alligator snapping turtles and lots of BIG fish.

Daddy had a quarter in his pocket so the kids got to feed them some as well.

If you click on this picture, you can see a fish about center, a little to the left.

Here is an alligator snapping turtle head sticking out of the water.

Here we are heading back. Cameron being silly as usual. I'm tired. I'm ready. Come on Caitlin!
