homeschool group we belong to put together a Field Trip in honor of Earth Day. The kids did lessons and games that involved recycling and then we took a trip to the landfill. The sad part is my camera batteries died before we got to the landfill. And the extra batteries in my bag were also dead! Bummer. Well, here are some of the pictures from game/lesson time.
It was a fun day. It was chilly & windy but Cameron & I managed to get sunburned! The landfill was really neat. The manager took us to the top of the "hill" and we got to learn so much. It really inspired us moms to recycle more!!! That was a LOT of trash!

good times! There is more than you would expect at a dump, huh? I once went on a field trip to one, and it was pretty impressive.
