I think it was a great idea for Brendan wait to get baptized. Because he waited until this summer, and this church, JC was the one who baptized him. What a wonderful, personal, joyful and proud moment of our lives.
JC got a little choked up talking about his son before the dunking and then Brendan shared a brief statement of faith.
We were very excited to share this big event with my mom and dad and JC's mom and stepdad. 
After church, we had gigantic pizzas at Papa Angelos in Bethany with both grandparents. Brendan enjoyed receiving a couple special baptism gifts before we pigged out on pizza. We're so proud of you, Brendan!

Of all the things you do in life, this is the big one. Yes, we are all so proud of Brendan and his faith in the Lord Jesus.
