Farm Field Trip

A really precious family in our Home School group opened up their farm for us last week. Can you believe we had 77 people sign up for this field trip?!

We got to visit the animals in their barn. Chickens, pigs, bunnies, kitties and a pony.

Cameron liked feeding the chickens

I think Cameron fell in love with the pony!

Then, we went to the farm house to make butter. A little bit of whipping cream in a baby food jar, shake for 7-10 minutes...

and, viola: Butter

What a fun field trip!

Farm living is the life to live! Sure would be nice to have fresh eggs every morning!!

That last note from "anonymous" was really Granny. The error was Richard's key stroke. But, guess what...I [Richard] spent the first 14 years of my life on a farm collecting eggs every morning.
