July 24th we celebrated our wedding anniversary. It wasn't a very exciting day as JC was getting over a 2+ week stomach bug.
This anniversary, I felt like we were celebrating commitment and endurance. And God's grace, healing, forgiveness and love.

This was our first sunrise on our cruise. The only sunrise we saw. It was beautiful!
Who knew so long ago that we would have such an adventure?! It's been up hill so much of the way but standing this high on the mountain allows for a beautiful view of God's promises.
And so, this past weekend, my parents watched the kids so JC & I could celebrate with dinner at Cattleman's (thanks, mom & dad!) and then we sat by the lake for a little bit. It was a wonderful evening, celebrating us.
