I'm a Minivan Mom!

We have been curious about how Caitlin will travel with us. With Brendan taller than his dad, we had really already outgrown the Saturn. When we found out we were pregnant, I began praying that God would bless us with a minivan. Not just any minivan, of course. A nice one with good mileage and most importantly, one we could pay cash for.

With a little savings and our tax return we had enough to purchase a Toyota Sienna. I looked and looked and my parents looked too. Every van we saw (in our price range) was either rated poorly on Consumer Reports or had mileage close to 200,000.

Except this one.

We looked at it Sunday and JC test drove it. He also talked the seller down $400! (Way to go, JC!!!) We planned to meet the seller at the bank in Edmond on Tuesday (yesterday)...

Brendan LOVES to be able to stretch out his legs. He's quite pleased with our purchase!

And here I am, proud new minivan mom, back at home.

My first trip in her was home from Edmond in rush hour traffic. That's NOT the best way to figure out all the ins and outs of a car but we made it home okay!
