For the health of my family and a healthy pregnancy. For cupboards that overflow. For a husband that has a steady job. A comfy home and vehicles that carry us where we need (or want) to go. For family and friends who love and care about us. Not to mention the grace and love that comes from my heavenly Father. We are so richly blessed.
As I begin to "nest", I see another area of blessings. This baby girl will arrive with more things than she could ever need! And we haven't spent more than $60 to prepare for her!!!
A very generous friend gave me enough maternity clothes for the entire pregnancy (and then some!)! We loaned Cameron's crib and baby monitor to one of my sisters; they don't need them any more so they are back, waiting on baby Cait. Another one of my sisters gave us a bassinet and swaddling blankets. My sister-in-law gave me a Sit & Stand stroller & carseat/carrier set. Baby clothes from my sisters; and friends have given us a Jumparoo, a bouncy seat and clothes. Cameron inherited a family heirloom dresser so Cait will now have Cameron's old one (which was purchased when Brendan was a baby!)
I had decided Cait didn't need one of those baby bath tubs - we could do things the old fashioned way. That same week, Cameron & I made a impromptu stop at a Thrift Store and found one for $2! (The very same one at Target is over $20!)
Thank you, friends & family, most of all for your prayers. Thank you for your giving spirit. We are so grateful for all the things that will make life with baby Cait that much easier!

Our God is marvelous. And what a treasure when we open our eyes and hearts to realize all of our blessings!
