Lily's birthday part was a small affair with family at my mom's house. The theme was "Cute as a Button". A few snacks, pink lemonade, cake and gifts. Oh, and balloons!
Mom made a delicious and super cute chocolate cake with strawberry jam filling. My favorite.
Lily especially enjoyed eating the candy buttons from the cake!

The day before her birthday (Thursday), Lily started to sing, "Happy Birthday to me!". She has a great grasp on her pronouns! She was quite pleased to have everyone giving her attention for her birthday!
